Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Prepare and verify delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and navigation systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
