Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial cargo vans to transport goods to designated drop-off points within the DC area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure, organized, and accounted for.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and business partners during every delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Update delivery status logs accurately via mobile applications.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Current, valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mapping software.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
