Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport cargo to designated drop-off points across the city.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver’s license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate urban routes efficiently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy for handling delivery paperwork.
