Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across Greater Boston
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while preventing damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes in real-time to avoid traffic delays
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Boston streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
