Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods to and from designated locations within the Baltimore metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery records, adhering to all federal and state traffic regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients, resolving delivery issues efficiently and courteously.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent experience with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in van or box truck driving preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local Baltimore streets, highways, and traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging hours and tracking deliveries.
- Must possess a current DOT Medical Card.
