Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial locations
- Efficient route planning using GPS technology to minimize transit time
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle (fuel, cleanliness, minor maintenance)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report delivery issues, vehicle concerns, and customer feedback promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area and surrounding neighborhoods
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
- Background check and drug screening required
