Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans in and around Memphis, TN.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documents.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- No previous driving experience required. We offer paid training for qualifying candidates.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor.
