Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods to commercial and residential locations
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verify inventory accuracy
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro area roadways
