Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport passengers and goods following strict safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and route navigation assistance
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and optimize fuel consumption
- Assist with loading/unloading of cargo while maintaining proper weight distribution
- Represent Baltimore Transit Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with passenger/cargo transport
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and random drug screenings
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore streets, highways, and Maryland traffic laws
- Excellent time management skills with ability to adhere to strict delivery schedules
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate vehicle controls safely
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
