Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across Baltimore and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency and fuel conservation
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or non-CDL driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro area geography
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, route apps)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
