Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods to designated delivery locations in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secure and protected during transit.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling payments and signatures as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and incidents via the company's digital tracking system.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Current and valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Albuquerque, NM road network and geography.
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation devices and handheld scanners.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
