Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages and materials across designated routes in Boston Metro Area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet tight delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong knowledge of Boston streets and Greater Boston area
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
