Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport packages, supplies, and equipment to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and real-time updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle loading/unloading of goods with proper lifting techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Report maintenance issues or vehicle defects immediately
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland and Bay Area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities
