Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend routes between Jacksonville, FL and Georgia
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain timely arrivals
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Georgia/Florida highway systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
