Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) safely and legally in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, delivery receipts, and billing documents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing PrimeLogistics.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle repairs if necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
