Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and merchandise to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight distribution guidelines
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and defensive driving practices
- Communicate delivery status and delays via GPS tracking system
- Assist in maintaining organized warehouse inventory and staging areas
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class E Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade roadways and navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Customer service-oriented communication skills
