Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials across NYC boroughs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently to avoid traffic and meet tight deadlines
- Handle fragile or high-value cargo with specialized care protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or C preferred
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
