Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver products and materials to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while handling goods with care
- Adhere to traffic laws and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area streets and highways
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, route planning apps)
