Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver goods and materials throughout Oakland and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight distribution guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes dynamically to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals
- Report maintenance issues promptly and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route optimization tools
