Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries and pickups throughout Jacksonville metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Verify shipment contents and ensure proper handling of sensitive materials
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) required
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
