Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and supplies across Philadelphia
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling of goods
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route adjustments
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet time-sensitive deliveries
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route challenges or delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial driving experience preferred (van or box truck)
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must pass background check and DOT physical examination
