Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages and goods throughout Seattle and surrounding regions
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Load and unload cargo with care, verifying inventory accuracy
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with route navigation apps and basic technology
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Knowledge of Seattle metro area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
