Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout San Jose and Bay Area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and verify shipment accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Jose geography and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting
