Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport packages, supplies, and equipment within Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes dynamically to optimize delivery times and traffic conditions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS apps preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
