Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods across Kansas City metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments while following proper handling procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes dynamically for traffic conditions and delivery priorities
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City streets and surrounding areas
- DOT medical certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery apps
