Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout Chicago metro area
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to meet tight delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and surrounding suburbs
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with handheld navigation devices
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 21+ years old
