Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery updates.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) must be on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and holidays as required.
