Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with New Orleans streets and traffic patterns
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and inventory
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
