Responsibilities
- Pick up and Deliver: Pick up packages from our facility and deliver them to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring packages are delivered correctly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your assigned vehicle clean and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Route Navigation: Use GPS navigation systems to plan the most efficient routes and avoid delays.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary delivery logs and paperwork.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions, such as wrong addresses or difficult customers, with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class E) and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration.
- Smartphone: Must possess a smartphone with data capabilities for route tracking.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write English.
- Availability: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
