Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout Milwaukee and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with care, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route optimization for efficiency
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee area streets and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
