Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within Charlotte metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) operations
- Familiarity with Charlotte regional highways and industrial zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
