Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Midwest region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage delivery documentation and route planning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delays or issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience or recent CDL graduate
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
