Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on highways and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and road safety regulations.
- Basic English proficiency for communication and navigation.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
