Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in strict accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely delivery logs (DOT compliant) and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in safe operating condition at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any operational issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and exceptional customer service.
