Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and route optimization
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas highway systems and regional geography
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required
