Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficiently manage loading/unloading processes at distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for timely delivery in Portland metro area
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Knowledge of Portland area traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
