Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand jacks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery issues.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license (Class A or B preferred; training provided for Class B).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
