Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes during night shifts
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and resolve transit issues
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Utilize GPS systems for real-time navigation and route adjustments
- Submit timely delivery documentation and post-trip reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, including night shift work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and physically load/unload freight as needed
- Proficiency in DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Florida highway systems
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass mandatory background checks and drug screening
