Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight freight deliveries across Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts to ensure safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Dallas metro area routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- DOT medical certification
