Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely to ensure safety during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and company procedures at all times.
- Uphold a professional image while representing RoadRunner Transport Services.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and move cargo as needed.
