Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Deliver freight to customers in Los Angeles, CA and various locations within Texas on or before the scheduled delivery time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Complete and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying manifests and ensuring cargo integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to resolve any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Class A preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to changing schedules as needed.
