Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A or Class C preferred).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
- Previous driving experience is a plus, but not required if you are willing to learn.
