Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to meet DOT medical requirements, including lifting and standing.
