Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Secure and verify cargo at all stops
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional driving experience
- TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro area routes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
