Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and legally on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering cargo of varying weights.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
