Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Uphold company safety protocols and represent our brand professionally
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Indiana/North Carolina road networks
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
