Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand jacks while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and handle cargo securely.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
