Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Execute timely deliveries while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route efficiency and load security
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Utilize GPS systems for real-time navigation and delivery tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat/Tank endorsements strongly preferred
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong spatial navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in variable weather conditions
