Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B CDL) for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) when certified
- Represent MetroLogistics with professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and New England highways
