Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or refrigerated) across designated Texas routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs using ELD systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues immediately
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and complete all required training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Texas residency and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and basic navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
